The Consignment Process
While our consignment process is quite selective, it is very personal. At home consignment consultations help our Nouveaux style associates build a one on one relationship with consignor. Items carried in the store are selected carefully, from an exclusive seasonal list of labels too. This personal approach allows us to provide the fashion-savvy Charlotte shopper with the opportunity to take home high-end fashion, shoes and accessories at an affordable price.
How To Consign With Us
In order to consign items you need to make an appointment. To do so, call (704) 266-4177 or book a consultation online. After we’ve got your relevant details - we will get you set up for a free consignment consultation.
2. The Drop Off / Pick-Up Process
If you've made a pick up appointment, a Nouveaux associate will come to your home and look through your items. We ask that your items are pressed, clean and on hangers. Before displaying your items, we gently ask that you take a quick scan of your items and try to identify any staining, holes or other blemishes that would make them unsuitable for consigning. Please bear in mind that we are seasonal, so when making your appointment, ask what season we are currently taking.
If you've made an appointment to drop off, simply come to Nouveaux at your designated time and an associate will go through your items at the store.
Nouveaux will sell the items consigned for 60 days and the consignor will receive 50% of the sale price. Items still in the store on the 60th day need to be picked up by the consignor, otherwise they are donated.
